OV students begin new school year in Cambodia

(VOV) -Students and teachers at Khmer-Vietnam Tan Tien school gathered at a ceremony in Phnom Penh on October 14 to mark the start of the 2013-2014 school year.

The ceremony was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Ngo Anh Dung, embassy staff and representatives from the Vietnamese Cambodian Association in Cambodia.

This year, the chool has enrolled 300 students studying at different levels, from  kindergarten to grade 5.

All the students are taught in Vietnamese and Khmer languages.

Some faculties of the school are still closed due to floods, but the school administrator ensured that the curriculum will be completed to a high standard with quality teaching.
