In the first six months of the year, the HCM city generated nearly 135,000 jobs, reaching 62.5 percent of the yearly plan, according to local sources.

The city is expected to recruit 150,000 labourers in the second half of the year for advertising, marketing, and financial administration services.

Enterprises will co-ordinate with vocational training centres, high schools and universities to train labourers at the request of employers.

In the first six months of the year, the whole country created an additional 780,000 jobs, including 734,000 jobs in the local market and 46,000 jobs in the foreign market.
