Education is the key to promoting economic growth and tops the government’s social agenda, said Thai Van Lung, Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina.

At a meeting with leaders of the National University of Cordoba (UNC) and the National University of Technology (UTN) in Argentina’s Cordoba province, Ambassador Lung said that Vietnam’s university training centres are expanding cooperation with universities worldwide.

The UNC and UTN leaders hoped that the Vietnamese delegation’s visit would help improve the relations between the two countries, especially in education and promote the images of the Vietnamese land and people within Argentina.

The delegation also attended the inauguration ceremony of the Argentina-Vietnam Friendship Association in Cordoba province (ACAAV).

Ambassador Lung was also present at the opening of the province’s 22nd Book Fair that included a Vietnamese bookstall.
