The impressive figure, announced by the IZ’s Management Board on July 3, was attributed to rigorous administrative procedures streamlining and investment promotion.

But the efforts won’t stop there as the IZ is set to complete special preferential policies to lure more hi-tech companies.

Hoa Lac IZ has been earmarked as a key project for the country's development. It was built following a Vietnam-Japan joint declaration, with Japanese planning support.

When fully occupied, the IZ is expected to employ close to 50,000 workers and earn hundreds of millions of US dollars in annual export turnover.
