Taiwan's leading computer component manufacturer Micro-Star International (MSI) has announced the appointment of the Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology (FPT) as a distributor for its products in Vietnam, said a daily newspaper on April 20.

The Lao Dong (Labour) newspaper quoted MSI President Henry Lu as saying that FPT will market MSI's mainboard and graphics cards in the Vietnamese market.

The company is mulling over the establishment of a customer care centre in Ho Chi Minh City, the paper added.
