Estonian Deputy Foreign Minister Klyde Kull paid a working visit to Vietnam from Oct. 14-15.

During talks on Oct. 14, the Estonian diplomat and his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Quoc Cuong informed each other about the situation of each country and discussed measures to further boost bilateral cooperation in economies, politics, trade and investment to match the potential and desire of each country.

They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern and agreed to expand cooperation between the two ministries in the future.

Deputy FM Cuong took this occasion to thank Estonia for their support in negotiations on the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement with the EU and asked Estonia to continue to support Vietnam in cooperation with the EU and EC. He also said Vietnam is already providing a bridge for Estonia to expand cooperation with other ASEAN countries.

While in Vietnam, the Estonian Deputy FM and his entourage were also received by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem.
