Head of the Vietnam National Assembly Office Bui Ngoc Thanh paid a six-day working visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK) starting from December 19 under the exchange of visit programme between the two countries.

The Vietnamese delegation held talks with a delegation from the RoK parliament office led by its General Secretary Nam-Goong Suek.

At the talks, the two sides briefed each other on the activities of the national assemblies in their respective countries and held working sessions with the council of Kyeong Ki province.

The delegation also met with the President of the RoK-Vietnam Friendship Association, and visited a number of major industrial establishments, including the Electronics Company and Ship-building Company SamSung Group. It also toured several cultural, sport and historical sites in the RoK.

The visit aimed to strengthening the mutual understanding between the two parliaments and people of Vietnam and RoK.
