Three US naval ships, including USS Chung Hoon, USS Preble and USNS Safeguard, docked at Tien Sa port in the central city of Danang on July 15, beginning a friendship visit to Vietnam.
The delegation, consisting of 678 ships’ officers and crew members, are scheduled to pay courtesy visits to leaders of Danang municipal People’s Committee and the Military Zone 3 High Command of the Navy.
They will share experiences in their jobs, take part in friendly sporting activities, cultural exchange and provide free medical treatment for charity.
