The Vietnamese football squad loss 3-6 to its Indonesian rival at the 2006 Southeast Asian Futsal Championships, which officially opened in Bangkok, Thailand on May 2.
The championships was divided into two groups – Group A (Thailand, Brunei and Myanmar) and Group B (Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia). The first and second winners of each group will enter the semi-finals of the champs.
The Vietnamese squad will meet the Malaysian and Cambodian team on May 3 and 4, respectively. Vietnam has to win these two matches to get a berth to the semi-finals, which will take place on May 6-7.
