More than 400 delegates will take part in the 9th Vietnam Journalist’s Association (VJA) Congress in Hanoi on August 10-12, Le Quoc Trung, VJA Vice President, announced on August 5.
The congress will discuss reports on promoting the role, quality and operational efficiency of VJA chapters. It will also look at amendments and supplements to VJA rules.
The development of the press, the press law and protection of journalists will be considered at the congress.
During the previous term, VJA admitted 5,607 members, bringing its membership to 17,763.
