Bach Long Vi nature reserve taking shape
(VOV) -Prime Minister Dung has approved a project establishing a nature reserve with a total area of more than 27,000 ha, on Bach Long Vi beach.
The project will focus on protecting the ecological system and marine creatures in the area surrounding Bach Long Vi, especially the rare species of animals and plants with a high economic and scientific value.

Dung asked the northern port city of Haiphong to strive to develop infrastructure for the Bach Long Vi nature reserve.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) was also asked to cooperate with Haiphong to step up the dissemination of information and raise public awareness of the nature reserve.
