China’s Jiangsu People’s Publishing House and Vietnam’s National Political Publishing House are seeking to boost their cooperation in the field of publishing.

A delegation from the Jiangsu People’s Publishing House, headed by its Vice Editor-in-Chief Fu Jianming, is on a working visit to Vietnam from October 9-17.

During talks, the two sides exchanged experience in organizing drafts, purchasing copyrights, building circulation systems, and renovating publishing activities.

They discussed the building of a modern publishing house in line with each country’s specific socio-economic conditions.

Nguyen Duy Hung, Director of the National Political Publishing House, said the two publishing houses will provide each other with bibliographies of the Doi Moi (renewal) process in Vietnam, reforms in China, Party and State building, and agricultural and rural development.

The two sides will also step up cooperation in other professional aspects, Hung said.
