The export turnover of foreign-invested enterprises in Binh Duong in the first four months of this year reached nearly US$1.9 billion, accounting for more than 70 percent of the province’s total export turnover, provincial authorities reported.


The products that posted the highest export turnover and highest growth included wood products, garments, plastic products and coffee.


The province also imported US$1.4 billion worth of goods in the first four months. Most imported products were milk and dairy products and raw materials for production.


The province’s combined import and export turnover in the first four months represented an overall annual increase of 25 percent.
