Binh Duong comes third at Thailand football cup
(VOV) - Vietnamese representative Becamex Binh Duong FC convincingly defeated champions Thai League Muangthong United 2-0 to rank third at the 2013 Chang Chonburi Cup in Thailand on January 30.
Vietnamese players Nguyen Vu Phong and Huynh Kesley Alves scored two goals in the 11th and 21st minutes of the match.
Becamex Binh Duong FC received US$3,000 from the organizing board and a bonus of US$10,000 from the club leaders.
Coach Cho Yoon Hwan said the Binh Duong team is gearing up for the Vietnam National Football Championship (V-League 2013).
