Sheraton Hanoi opens 1st Filipino Food Festival
VOV.VN -The Sheraton Hanoi has launched its 1st Filipino Food Festival, October 1-16, a gastronomic feast capturing the authentic flavours and popular dishes of contemporary Philippine cuisine.
The event is co-organized by the Philippine Embassy in Vietnam, Philippine Department of Agriculture, and Sheraton Hanoi as part of a concerted effort to bolster cultural exchange and cooperation between the countries.
Colourful and flavourful dishes of the Philippines including Fish Kinilaw, Lechon Belly, and Puto Kutsinta are introduced by Chef Arnold Bernardo, who won the 2010 Ultimate Chef Warrior award.
Visitors also have a chance learn more about the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the Philippines though many varied events during the festival and enter a drawing to win a trip to Manila – the capital of the Philippines.
