Vietnamese circus - Japanese magic performance to entertain Hanoi audience

A special programme combining Vietnamese circus and Japanese magic will be staged in Hanoi on May 17, announced the Vietnam Circus Federation (VCF) at a press conference on May 14.

According to Director of the VCF, Tong Toan Thang, the event, which is jointly organised by VCF and Zenpro Corporated Inc from Japan, aims to popularise culture of Vietnam and Japan.

The Ninja Magic Show will see the performance of two Japanese famous female magic artists who had performed in Las Vegas, US for a long time, along with two actress and three musicians from Japan.

Thang said that musicians will perform live on the stage of the Hanoi Central Circus, and demonstrate many movements of Japanese martial artists – Samurai at the same time. Japanese magic artists will play the role of legendary Ninja warriors, while Vietnamese artists will stage unique performances, such as monkey and horse circus. The collaboration of artists from Vietnam and Japan is expected to bring new and attractive things to the audience.

In particular, young audiences will have a chance to enjoy music, art, style, and small details of Japanese culture introduced by Japanese artists in the programme, he added.

There will be eight performances in Vietnam on May 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26, of which the one on May 24 is free for children with disabilities.
