Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed in Da Nang

VOV.VN - A special aircraft, carrying China Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, landed at Da Nang Airport on the afternoon of November 10, starting his activities in Vietnam.

President Xi Jinping arrived in the central city of Da Nang on the afternoon of November 10 for APEC Economic Leaders’ Week and a state visit to Vietnam.

Xi Jinping’s State visit to Vietnam and his attendance at the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting mark his first trip abroad after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This demonstrates the importance the Chinese Party, State and President Xi Jinping attach to Vietnam-China relations and their support for Vietnam’s successful organization of APEC Economic Leaders’ Week.

Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan welcomed President Xi Jinping at Da Nang Airport.

After the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting, President Xi Jinping will leave Da Nang for Hanoi to begin his state visit to Vietnam from November 12-13.
