NA approves resolution on central budget allocation

Lawmakers voted to approve a resolution on the allocation of central budget in 2017 during the ongoing second session of the 14th National Assembly in Hanoi on November 14.

In the morning, the deputies deliberated the draft law on irrigation, focusing on the development of irrigation systems and services.

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong accounted for some issues in the field.

In the afternoon, the deputies discussed about the draft resolution on stopping the implementation of a nuclear power plant in the central province of Ninh Thuan.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh delivered a report on the situation in the East Sea.

On November 15, legislators will hear a report on the monitoring of handling petitions that voters sent to the 11th session of the 13th legislature.

The NA will begin hearings the same day, which will be broadcast live on national television and radio.
