VOV.VN -Vietnamese customers have developed a taste for Taiwanese star fruit despite their expensive price.

In Vietnam, a kilogram of Taiwanese star fruit can cost from VND150,000-200,000, depending on different types.
A single star fruit weighs between 0.3 kg-0.6 kg.
 Many of Vietnamese customers are still keen on the bright yellow fruit despite the high price.
They are 10 times more expensive than Vietnamese star fruit.
According to a shop owner, the sought-after fruit is usually out of stock.
The scarcity and demand has pushed the price of Taiwanese star fruit to VND300,000 per kg.
