Vietnam earned more than 25,000 Chinese yuan from the export of 10,000 branches of flower per week to China via Mong Cai border gate in the early days of July, according to the Ministry of Trade.

Currently, China has a great demand for Vietnam’s fresh flowers, including roses from Da Lat, Hanoi and Hai Phong, as well as daisies, lilies and white tuberoses.

Markets that imported a large number of Vietnamese flowers through Mong Cai border gate include Quangdong, Quangxi and Fujian.

In the review period, the export volume of fruit and vegetable to the Chinese market was high, reaching about 30 tonnes per week. Key export items are unripe pineapple, unripe banana and eggplant. China also has high demand for longans from the northern region and rambutans from the southern region of Vietnam.
