The Pha Rung Shipyard Company in the northern port city of Hai Phong handed over a 34,000 DWT cargo ship to Lavant Shipping Co., Ltd of Italia on February 10.
San Felice, the largest-ever cargo ship equipped with modern and automatic devices, measures 180m long and 30m wide and can travel 14 nautical miles per hour.
San Felice is the first of 15 ships that Pha Rung’s foreign partners contracted it to build.
