Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has allowed the Vietnam Steel Corporation to export iron ores in exchange for fat and coke coal from China to the domestic demand for steel production.

In the second quarter of this year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade must report to the Prime Minister on coke coal demands and propose the import of fat and coke coal to feed local steel production plants.
