Overnight coffee shops in town

If you look for a place to stay up late, there is a 24-hour coffee shop in town.

Located in the heart of HCMC, Thuc (awake) Café has emerged as a popular venue for coffee enthusiasts since it is open round the clock.

Thuc Café is run by a young woman and decorated with wooden chairs and old paintings. There are seats on the sidewalk in front of the café for those guests preferring to see city life while it has air-conditioned rooms with classical music for those needing some concentration.

The café is busy from the evening till 2:00 a.m. Prices range from VND22,000  (US$1) to VND45,000 per drink.

Thuc Café has branches on main streets in District 1. The branch on Pasteur Street often attracts office workers and foreign expats while most customers to its shop on Huynh Thuc Khang Street are artists. Young people frequent Thuc Café on Ly Tu Trong Street.

Another good place is The March Café. It is like an acoustic café as it has a small stage with some acoustic instruments available. On Sundays, guests can enjoy acoustic music shows.

The March Café also offers gifts and discounts for customers who use Facebook to check in and take selfies at the shop.

Prices range from VND20,000 to VND60,000 per drink. The cafe is situated on Tran Quang Dieu Street, District 3, HCMC.
