Japan-Vietnam's key partner

VOV.VN - Japan has become Vietnam’s key partner with expanded political trust and economic cooperation, President Tran Dai Quang told the visiting Vietnam – Japan Special Ambassador Ryotaro Sugi at a reception in Hanoi on May 13.

Vietnam welcomes Japanese investors and wants to promote clean agriculture and processing industry, Quang told his guest.

The State leader appreciated the ambassador’s love for Vietnam and his activities particularly in culture, art, people-to-people exchanges, humanitarian aids, to foster bilateral ties over the past three decades.

He said he hopes Ambassador Ryotaro Sugi, with a great deal of experience, will continue creating initiatives and practical activities to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations in the future. 

President Quang also affirmed Vietnam's readiness to offer favourable conditions for any companies who want to do business in the field of agriculture and clean processing in Vietnam. 

Ambassador Ryotaro Sugi congratulated President Quang on being elected as Head of the State of Vietnam and informed him that during this visit, he held working sessions with the Ministry of Planning and Investment to speed up the implementation of Japan’s aid in the form of equipment provision to the firefighting force. 

The Japanese diplomat also suggested both sides should boost education, training, tourism and people to people exchanges.
