The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee held a conference for religious dignitaries in Hanoi on September 6, with a focus on the 11th National Party Congress Resolution.

This was a good opportunity to explain the Party Resolution to the dignitaries to ensure they thoroughly understand the main contents of the Resolution and the State’s policies regarding religious affairs.

President of the VFF Central Committee, Huynh Dam, emphasized that the conference offered the participants a chance to share views and boost solidarity among the different religions in Vietnam in order to realize the Party Resolution to create a prosperous people, a strong nation and a democratic, just and civilized society.

Mr Dam stressed the need to reach a high consensus among religious dignitaries, strengthen national unity and promote emulation movements, for successful national construction and defence.

Participants at the conference highlighted the VFF’s action plan for disseminating information about the Party Resolution to people across the country, promoting solidarity and achieving the socioeconomic targets set by the 11th National Party Congress Resolution.

They also underlined the importance of the VFF’s role in representing people’s legitimate rights.
