Save the Children UK has worked with the Ho Chi Minh City Committee for Population, Family and Children on a project to care for children infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS in the locality.

The project aims to prevent HIV/AIDS multi-harms on children and reduce the rate of HIV/AIDS infected children while promoting preventive measures to protect the community from the epidemic.

The project, worth VND650 million in non-refundable aid, will be carried out in Ho Chi Minh City’s four outlying districts of Binh Thanh, Go Vap, Thu Duc and Hoc Mon from June 2008 till March 2009.
