Heavy traffic expected for grand opening of 5 mega-malls

VOV.VN - Vincom is expecting traffic to be heavy as it rolls out promotions to entice shoppers with prizes during its grand opening of five mega-malls across Vietnam over the Liberation Day holiday weekend.

We have additional resources on standby and we’re working closely with local law enforcement and other first responders to ensure that we have capacity to deal with any situations, whether it be a traffic collision, minor or major in nature, says Vincom.

Criminal elements that might want to take advantage of the chaos on opening day had better be warned to stay away, as the malls will be abuzz with security guards, including plain-clothed police officers.

The grand openings will feature plenty of giveaways and special appearances by singers, musicians and other famous people at the malls located at Yen Bai, Kien Giang, Tra Vinh, Vinh Long and one in the Binh Thanh District of Ho Chi Minh City.

We’ve got a lot of curious and eager shoppers, says Vincom, but with the additional resources and the collaborative approach we’ve taken we’re hoping that it will be fairly straight forward and we’re working tirelessly to ensure there are no glitches.
