In photos: eight dead as fire destroys Hanoi workshop
VOV.VN -A deadly fire ripped through a workshop that manufactures plastic products in Trung Van ward, Nam Tu Liem district of Hanoi on April 12, leaving eight people dead.

| The origins of the incident began early in the morning at 2:15 a.m. in Alley 1 Dai Linh. |

| Located at the heart of a residential area, the workshop contained many flammable materials that caused the fire to rapidly spread once engulfed in flames. |

| Four factories belonging to the workshop, covering a total area of 1,000 square metres, was totally destroyed as a result of the blaze. |

| Nguyen Duc Chung, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, arrived at the scene to direct ongoing resuce work. |

| Local authorities have confirmed that eight people were killed as a result of the tragic accident. |
