Qatari Ambassador presents Tet gifts to the disadvantaged

VOV.VN - Qatari Ambassador Mohammed Ismail Al-Emadi on February 1 presented gifts worth VND50 million to Social Protection Centre N03, which is home to nearly 100 elderly people and 100 orphans.

The period surrounding the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) is an important time for every Vietnamese person to gather with their families and wish each other a happy and prosperous new year. The Qatari Ambassador organized a Tet program at the Centre with the intention of bringing a Tet of joy and warmth to underprivileged people.

Tran Thi Hai, the Centre’s director, sent sincere thanks to the Ambassador and the embassy staff for their kindness.
