Russian reporters receive Friendship Medal
(VOV) - The Vietnam Embassy in Russia held a ceremony on December 18 to present the Friendship medal to four recipients in recognition of their contribution to enhancing the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
The Russian reporters – Ms Elena Nikulina, Mr Igor Britov, Mr Alexey Syunnerberg and Ms Tatiana Rumyansheva – all work in different sections of the RT (Russian Today) television network.
“I am deeply moved and honoured to receive this prestigious award from the Vietnam government,” said Mr Syunnerberg at the awards ceremony.
Ms Rumyansheva in turn said she was very surprised to learn of her selection to receive the honour and that she thinks the award reflects the great effort made by the entire news staff at the network.
