Son La police arrest drug trafficker

VOV.VN - Police officers acting in coordination with customs officers of northern Son La Province have apprehended a man who was in the process of smuggling 6 bricks of heroin.

Va A Po
The suspect was identified as Va A Po or Va So Tua, 38, residing in Nam Bo hamlet, Chieng En commune, Song Ma district, Son La. Po was caught red handed while transporting six bricks of heroin in Chieng Ly commune, Thuan Chau district, Son La province.

Po confessed to having bought the heroin in Laos before transporting it to Vietnam for sale.

The case is still under investigation.
