Vietnamese booth leaves strong impression at Paris Fair 2024

VOV.VN - Traditional handicrafts, typical food dishes, and special musical performances at the Vietnamese booth have drawn plenty of attention at the Foire de Paris (Paris Fair) 2024 which is underway in the French capital.

Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang said the event offers a prime chance to not only introduce Vietnamese specialties to French consumers, but also popularise the country’s culture.

On display are a range of Vietnamese products which have so far proved attractive to visitors, including lacquer paintings, fine handicrafts, silk products, brocade items, and tea.

In particular, artists from Vietnam and the Vietnamese Culture Centre in France showcased a special musical programme at the event, offering audiences a glimpse into the diverse culture of the country.

Taking place from May 1 to 12, the Paris Fair is the biggest event of its kind in France for family spaces, cuisine, creativity, and traditional crafts.

Each year sees the 120-year-old fair attract the participation of more than 40 countries and welcome around 400,000 visitors who are keen to explore the culture of different nations from across the world.
