Vietnamese-Lao journalists talk spotlight, scoops and the digital age
VOV.VN - A five day joint Vietnamese-Lao workshop casting the spotlight on journalism in the digital age has opened in the capital city of Vientiane, the Vietnam News Agency reported on June 12.
The training will include special emphasis on best practices for journalists to connect with readers via social-networking, for instance the use of Twitter and Facebook, to find stories and promote their work.
The course is an advanced refresher course held pursuant to a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communication and Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism with the goal of instilling skills as well as share experience of journalists.
