VOV, Lao National Radio strengthen cooperation

VOV.VN - A high-level Laotian contingent led by Director General of the Lao National Radio Phosy Keomanivong met on November 22 with leaders of the Voice of Vietnam at VOV headquarters in Hanoi.

At the meeting, VOV Director General Nguyen The Ky briefed the gathering on the history and organizational structure of VOV. He also talked in depth about the challenges modern media faces such as issues related to social networking and inaccurate information on the internet.

In addition, he shared experience in implementing broadcasting programs on the VOV National Traffic Channel.

LNR Director General Phosy Keomanivong, in turn, briefed VOV leaders on history of LNR and the extensive cooperation between VOV and LNR over the past years. He extended his appreciation for the assistance and support from VOV in the development process of LNR.

Mr Phosy Keomanivong also expressed his hope for avid continuing support from VOV in training reporters, editors, technicians, and developing traffic channels and online newspapers for the LNR in the time to come.
