Japan wins team race at international cycling event

VOV.VN - On March 16, the Japanese women’s team claimed first place and prize money of US$900 in the team competition at the – 2016 Biwase Cup – ongoing in Binh Duong Province.

Second and third places went to the Thai and the Binh Duong team, respectively.

In individual races, Japanese cyclist Kaneko Hiromi topped the list and prize money of US$1,500 – followed by Thai Phetdarin Somrat, Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi That and Thai Chanpeng Nontasin in order of finish.

The event has drawn the participation of 67 cyclists from eight local and six foreign teams including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan.
