Malaysian, Lao, Thai teams enter cycling event

Three international teams from Malaysia, Laos and Thailand will take part in the 2016 VTV International Cycling Tournament for the Ton Hoa Sen Cup later this month.

Their participation promises to make the event more competitive.

They will be up against 13 teams from Vietnam.

The tour will start in the central city of Danang on August 24 and end in Hanoi on September 2, National Day.

The cyclists will ride the distance of 1,300 km in 10 stages, going through Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Binh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Nam Dinh and Hai Phong before finishing in the capital.
