Vietnam nominated for Asia and World's Best Golf Destination 2024
VOV.VN - Vietnam has been nominated for the Asia’s Best Golf Destination 2024 award and World’s Best Golf Destination 2024 award, announced the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT).
Over recent years Vietnam has emerged as an attractive golf destination among international tourists. It has been chosen as the host venue for many international professional golf tournaments, including Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam 2023.
Furthermore, the country has been honoured as Asia’s Best Golf Destination seven times and the World’s Best Golf Destination two times by the World Golf Awards (WGA), the most prestigious awards in the golf tourism industry.
Under the Government-approved tourism development strategy by 2030, golf tourism has also been identified as a main trend that will help to bolster socio-economic development and to stimulate greater travel demand.
VNAT called on people and tourists to vote for the country and votes can be cast on the website https://worldgolfawards.com from now until October 6. The results will be announced at World Golf Awards 2024 ceremony to be held at the beautiful islands of Madeira of Portugal in November.
