Binh Duong, Italy agree to foster business collaboration
VOV.VN - On November 14, the Binh Duong People’s Committee signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the chamber of commerce from the northern Italian region of Emilia-Romagna to foster more business collaboration.
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam was also a signatory to the agreement.
At the signing ceremony, the parties discussed best practices and shared their top initiatives. The ideas identified for future follow-up included high-level advocacy, business mentoring and non-traditional networking.
They discussed the opportunity to leverage the Province’s and Region’s significant comparative advantages, building better relationships with all levels of government, and considered acting as a group on an issue-by-issue basis.
They agreed to continue to help each other at a grassroots level and meet regularly as a group to advance business relationships between the two economies.
We have started to build something very special, said Mai Hung Dung, vice chair of Binh Duong People’s Committee. With an established relationship, we have agreed to share knowledge, built trust, and agreed on ongoing collaboration.
We now welcome an historic new era of improved best practice and enhanced chamber connectivity between our two economies.
Fulvio Albano, chair of Italy Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, in turn said he applauded the long-awaited collaboration.
