Discovering stunning Offshore Wind Farm in Bac Lieu

VOV.VN - Wind turbines in the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu have created a breathtaking landscape of clouds and sea, attracting a large number of tourists to the locality at weekend.

The largest-scale wind farm in Vietnam discovered by young travellers last year has quickly become a most visited tourist destination.

The wind farm, located in Vinh Trach Dong commune in the western province of Bac Lieu is about 290km from HCM City.

The wind farm reminds us of the spectacular view of wind mills in the Netherlands.

The farm has a total of 62 wind turbines. Each tower of turbine is 80 metre high and has a diameter of 4 metres and weighs over 200 tons.

The best time for taking photos is between 3pm and 4pm.

Tourists can visit other popular destinations in Bac Lieu such as Cong Tu Bac Lieu House (the house of Bac Lieu dandy).
