Thousands wait without sleep as OVs return for Tet

VOV.VN - Thousands of people from Ho Chi Minh City and neighbouring provinces have been waiting at Tan Son Nhat airport to welcome their relatives living and working abroad as they return home for the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet).

Thousands of people were crowded at Tan Son Nhat Airport on the evening of February 5 to await their expatriate relatives who are returning home for Tet.

They have a sleepless night as they stand and wait to be reunited with their relatives.

The waiting areas are overcrowded with thousands of people anxious to see family members once again.

Some people grow tired of standing and try to get comfortable as they wait all evening to the early morning of the next day.

People are packed into the airport like sardines in a tin.
