Guitar whizz Sungha Jung returns to Vietnam end of August

Jung who has been nicknamed the Guitar Prodigy and the August Rush in the Republic of Korea, has over three million subscribers on his YouTube channel, enthralling music lovers with his unique renditions of contemporary, jazz, Broadway and classical songs.

Many of his YouTube videos have been viewed more than 400 million times.

The 20-year-old musician first started playing guitar at the age of five, under the tutoring of his father. Later he learned to play fingerstyle modelling his technique after idol Kotaro Oshio.

He will take the stage August 26 at the Youth Theatre in Hanoi and August 27 at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.
