344 athletes in 36 teams, including squads from Malaysia, the Philippines and China's Guangxi province, will attend the tournament.

The championships, including 37 events with 144 sets of medals, will provide an ideal opportunity for Vietnamese athletes to gear up for the upcoming 24th Southeast Asian Games and the 3rd Asian Indoor Games.
