A reburial ceremony for the remains of two Vietnamese voluntary soldiers who had laid down their lives in Laos was held the northern province of QuangBinh on July 20.

Over the past few years, Ninh Binh province has held services to inter the remains of 73 Vietnamese martyrs who fought as volunteers in Laos during the war.

Also on July 20, the Dak Nong provincial military command found the remains of 16 Vietnamese soldiers in a mass grave in Quang Truc commune, Tuy Duc district in the Central Highland province of Dak Nong.

These remains are said to be Vietnamese combatants who were killed in a mopping-up attack by soldiers of the Saigon regime in January 1965.

The Dak Nong provincial military command will coordinate with the provincial Department for Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to hold a reburial ceremony for the remains of these martyrs at a cemetery in Gia Nghia town in Dak Nong province.
