Vice State President Hoa warmly welcomed the young overseas Vietnamese's return to their homeland, saying that this is a good chance for them to increase their understanding of the nation's history and culture.

The Vietnamese economy has seen satisfactory development in recent years, partly thanks to contributions made by the overseas Vietnamese community, she stressed.

On behalf of the young overseas Vietnamese, Dieu Linh, a student in the Czech Republic, expressed her special sentiment towards the homeland. She wished that she would have more opportunities to visit Vietnam and that the two-week summer camp would be a nice time for the young overseas Vietnamese.
