Japanese violinist Matsuda Lina, Dutch cello artist Harriet Krijgh, French pianist Kim Barbier and US conductor Dorian Wilson will make up the global quartet who will perform Beethoven’s “Concerto No 8” alongside Vietnamese artists at Hanoi Opera House on October 13-14.

The performance is part of a Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra program to stage all of Beethoven’s masterpieces.  

Apart from Beethoven’s “Concerto No 8”, the ensemble will also perform a concerto for piano, violin and cello under the baton of US conductor Dorian Wilson.  

Dorian Wilson is an American conductor who has won many international prizes. He has worked with the world’s most famous orchestras and conducted more than 120 ensembles across all continents.  

Japanese violinist, Matsuda Lina, who played with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra in October last year, has won numerous prestigious music awards in Japan and already has a devoted following in Vietnam.  

French pianist, Kim Barbier, is globally recognized after performing together with many internationally renowned orchestras. 

Young Dutch cello artist, Harriet Krijgh is now very successful in Austria. Many record companies in Germany and Austria have paid special attention to her music.
