The Vietnam Paper Corporation has signed a contract with the US Sunshine International Group to export a batch of 1,800 tonnes of printing and writing paper to the US.

The Bai Bang Paper Company, located in northern Phu Tho province, has begun producing export products under the contract. The company turned out 9,100 tonnes in January and expects to manufacture 8,600 tonnes in February.

The Bai Bang Paper Company now holds a major share of the domestic market and is expanding its exports to many other countries. The US market alone represents 40-50 percent of its export volume.
