Vietnamese-American girl crowned Miss Nebraska USA
(VOV) -Vietnamese-American girl Hoang Kim Cung has triumphed at the Miss Nebraska USA 2015.
Kim Cung will represent Nebraska to compete at Miss America next year.
Born in the US, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and majored in broadcast journalism.

When Cung was a tertiary students, she reported and anchored for Texas Newswatch and hosted Good Morning TX programme.
After receiving fellowship of CBS News, she moved to New York and currently works for Sunday Morning programme.
Cung is also an enthusiastic social activist. She is the only member of her family to be born in America but she never forgets her roots. Kim Cung helped start a 501c3 Non-Profit Organisation and raised more than US$10,000 for South Vietnamese Veterans and their families living in Vietnam.
Determined to maintain her culture, Kim is fluent in Vietnamese and enjoys singing Vietnamese songs at community events.
