The Argentinean Ministry of Economy decided on March 27 to impose anti-dumping tax of 81 percent on Vietnamese bike and motorbike spokes. Indonesian spokes are also levied anti-dumping duty of 76 percent.

In late 2005, the Argentinean Chiuchich SAIC&F Company asked the Argentinean Ministry of Economy to investigate the dumping of spoke products imported from Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia.

The Argentinean Ministry of Economy proposed imposing the anti-dumping tax while the investigation was still underway.
