Vietnam desires for stronger ties with Japan

At a January 23 reception for the Japanese diplomat, Trong praised the growing ties between the two nations and voiced his hope to continue receiving cooperation, assistance and experience from Japan to serve the country’s course of transforming its growth.

He said he believes that with his knowledge on Vietnam, the ambassador will help further deepen the two countries’ strategic partnership to meet the aspirations and interests of the two peoples.

Ambassador Fukada said he is deeply impressed by Vietnam’s development achievements and pledged his utmost efforts to strengthen the bilateral friendship and expand cooperation to improve strategic partnership for mutual benefit and for the sake of peace and prosperity in Asia.
