The Vietnamese Party, State and people will continue to do their best to promote traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Cuba, said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung.
While receiving Cuban governmental minister Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz in Hanoi on September 22, Mr Hung said that the two countries should build medium and long-term cooperative strategies in the fields of agriculture, industry, service and banking, in addition to expanding cooperation in oil and gas, tourism and consumer goods production industries.
The Cuban minister informed Mr Hung of the successful results of his working sessions with Vietnamese ministries and agencies to enhance cooperation in rice production and oil exploitation.
Cuba is eager to learn from Vietnam’s experience in rice production and hopes to receive more support from the country in this field, the official said.
